A TikToker goes viral after spotting a massive batch of bikes – some still in boxes – dumped in a dumpster behind a Target store.
TikTok is a home for viral content of all kinds… but a TikTok account gets some extra creativity points for showing the absurd things people can find in dumpsters.
The Account, aptly named ‘dumpster_finds’ only has about 911 followers but is receiving increased attention due to a specific video shared last month.
On April 21, 2022, Dumpster Finds uploaded a video of a woman performing one of the most surprising dumpster dives we’ve ever seen – one that could potentially be worth thousands of dollars.
A TikToker was shocked by the sheer volume of bikes she found behind her local Target store.
The video shows a dumpster filled with a number of what appear to be new bikes, all packed in large boxes. Some of the bikes were still in their individual boxes that had yet to be assembled.
“Bikes, bikes and more bikes,” the woman is heard telling of her unexpected find. “New bikes. Brand new bikes. There’s a damn bike in a box.”
The Dumpster Finds account had a more scathing sentiment for the Target location where the bikes were allegedly dumped: “When Target can’t be bothered to donate.”

The video has been viewed over 296,000 times at the time of writing and is full of commenters shocked at the sheer amount of product that was thrown away, while others called on the target to donate the wasted bikes.
“The amount of kids that could be super excited to get one,” said one commenter. “Whether foster parents or poverty.”
“I was like in a trance watching this over and over,” said another. “Just saddened and amazed at the lack of care for the underprivileged in the community [people].”
This video almost pales in comparison to another TikTok uploaded to the Dumpster Finds account, where a woman and her daughter came across two brand new TVs that were still in boxes and had been thrown away.

At the moment it’s unclear what the lucky finder did with all the bikes he uncovered, but commenters hope he went to someone in need.
