Three-bed house to go up for auction for just £20k

A THREE BEDROOM home dubbed ‘auction gold’ could be yours for as little as £20,000 – but it needs a seriously deep clean.
Online listings for up-and-coming properties in Highfields, Leicester, show dusty rooms with rubbish piled high on the floor.
Wallpaper was seen peeling on the walls in the living room and dirty pots and pans on the kitchen counters.
But, with a bit of hard work, the house can be turned into an amply-sized three-bedroom home – with the potential to be turned into a loft if the loft is converted.
The house is a short distance from Leicester train station, and could make an ideal student home with the university just a short walk away.
The boiler is new and fully functional, with auctioneers SDL Property Auctions calling it “auction gold” for a “seasoned investor”.
A three-bed house in Milton Keynes was previously for sale for a bargain £90,000 – but buyers fear it is the dirtiest house in the UK.
Piles of rubbish were found both inside and outside the house – along with a dusty bathroom.
Old clothes, piles of trash and buckets filled with water from the leaking ceiling were scattered everywhere.
In front of a terraced house, a few bags of trash were strewn across a small lawn area.
