This small concrete ‘warehouse’ is on sale for £283,000 but it comes with an amazing secret hidden underground.
The 6,900 square foot bunker is home to a series of stairs that lead down to a decommissioned US missile silo complex.
Located in the heart of Kansas and built on 11 acres of land, the hidden concrete structure was designed to withstand a nuclear attack, according to the real estate website. Zillow.
It has everything a modern family needs to survive the apocalypse including running water, electricity and a mandatory sewage drainage system to the surface.
It even has two upper floors that measure 1,200 feet and are only accessible through a quaint entrance above ground level.
The former launch site was home to the Atlas F missile silo complex, which housed Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) from 1961 to 1966.
When operational, the bunker was manned by a crew of five and had an underground tunnel connecting it to the launch control room 170 feet underground.
These sites were later used in the US space program and helped put the first four American astronauts into Earth orbit in the early 1960s.
Hirsch Real Estate is trying to promote the property, which it describes as a “one-room office or storage building”.

According to the website, there are already 72 Atlas F launch sites across the US – with 12 of them in Kansas.
This bunker is located in Abilene and is Schilling’s AFB site.
Built on 11 acres of land, the site is home to the decommissioned Atlas F missile silo complex.
“The underground complex is designed to withstand a nuclear attack and has water, electricity and a forced sewage system to the surface.
“There are 6,900 square feet in the complex with the two upper floors covering approximately 1,200 feet of space.
“This area is used for the launch control center and crew living quarters. The main missile silo is located at a depth of 170 feet.”
This bunker used to house the SM-65 Atlas – the first operational ICBM developed by the US.
Standing 75ft tall and weighing 260,000 lbs, the single-stage rocket was a key part of Washington’s arsenal during the Cold War.
The weapons can be launched from underground bunkers or from coffin-like bunkers.
The Atlas missile is equipped with a W38 thermonuclear warhead with a yield of about 3.75 megatons.
