The Woody Toy Story Theory Will Change the Way You Watch Movies

There is a potential revelation about Toy Story 3 that gives the film an unsettling turn.

The sequel, which was released in June 2010, follows the gang as they are mistakenly taken to the Sunnyside day care center.

It was due to Woody (Tom Hanks) to convince the other toys that they haven’t been dropped by Andy so they can get back in time before he leaves for college.

Once in the daycare center, however, the toys face obstacles in the shape of others there – namely Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear (Ned Beatty), who despite having a friendly name, is revealed to be the main antagonist of the film.

Viewers learn in a flashback that Lots-o’s beloved owner, Daisy, has accidentally left him behind.

When he returns to her, he is heartbroken to discover that she has replaced him with a new Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear. It was this event that made him evil.

After arriving at Sunnsyide, he decided to rule it as a prison and turn other toys into his minions.

Over the years, many theories have drawn comparisons between Lots-o’s experience and Woody’s experience in the original. Toy Story (1995).

The theory is that by putting Lots-o’ in Toy Story 3, NS Pixar The writers are showing what Woody can become if Andy takes his place when he and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) are left behind at Pizza Planet.

Above Reddit, one fan theory writes: “I believe Woody is perfectly capable of everything Lots-o did, but Woody always had a kid.

“If Andy bought a new Woody toy in the first movie, I believe Woody would turn out like Lots-o’ – both leaders and both going through great challenges to get your kids back. Plus, we see Woody’s ‘dark side’ in the first movie as he starts being replaced by Buzz. Lots-o’ is basically a version of Woody with no kids. “

When viewed this way, Lots-o’ scenes in Toy Story 3 took on a whole new, much more disturbing light.
