Terrifying video A deadly rocket attack on a city bus in Kyiv was captured on Monday, causing it to explode into a ball of flames.

Surveillance video released by the Kyiv City Council showed the stationary green bus at a Kyiv intersection around 11 a.m. local time.

A spectator in the foreground looks up at the sky, and moments later the bus explodes from what appears to be a direct hit.

In video shot later and apparently Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko showed a closeup of the mutilated bus at the scene of the same incident.

The German news agency Bild reported two dead and nine injured in the strike.
