The University of Oklahoma sorority is being investigated for alleged rave behavior

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – The Delta Gamma sorority of the University of Oklahoma is currently at the center of an investigation.
University officials told KFOR that this all revolves around hateful allegations that have recently come to light.
University officials did not disclose details of what happened but released the following statement:
“The university was recently made aware of an assessment completed by the international executive office Delta Gamma. As a result of the review, the international executive office Delta Gamma placed the OU Delta Gamma chapter on restricted status.
The allegations are being reviewed by OU Knights and Fraternity Programs and Services and the Office of Student Conduct. The university is working closely with Delta Gamma to conduct an investigation. Following the conclusion of the investigation, the university will address the matter as appropriate. ”
OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY
One OU student shared her views on hate in general.
“An organization can certainly go downhill because of it. I think a lot of people are not interested in sororities or fraternities because the fervor is so prominent,” said Danielle Bacha.
KFOR has repeatedly contacted the sorority’s national headquarters about the hate allegations, but has yet to receive a response from sorority officials.
The university also hasn’t released many details at this time about what prompted the investigation.
