The target buyer finds love chatting with the customer service agent

Cupid’s dart hit a Target buyer and his customer service representative.
If Jonah Taylor’s department store purchase hadn’t been damaged upon arrival, the 20-year-old music collector might not have found his match in Pablo, a Target employee.
Now a TikTok telling about their reported virtual meeting has gone viral with 1.8 million views in three days.
“So, I spoke to Target’s online support … and I think I just found the love of my life,” Taylor says in a video that purportedly includes screenshots of their conversation.
It all started when Taylor claimed he received a scratched record from Target in the mail and escalated his issue to customer service’s online chat tool, where he was connected to Pablo.
Without hesitation, the dutiful salesman promised to send Taylor a replacement — a point at which most customers would have ended the conversation.

Pablo then sent a final “Bye” and added a smiley face emoji at the end, causing Taylor to pause.
He responded to his own goodbye with a little extra — a flirtatious “Bye, beast!” before signing off.
“You really made my day, thanks,” Pablo added.
“I’m usually very friendly with all account managers, knowing their jobs can already be quite stressful,” Taylor later says said BuzzFeed. “So when he told me I made his day just by being nice to him, I knew I needed to talk to him more!”
And they reportedly did, as Taylor quickly plucked up the courage to ask if Pablo is single and if they could potentially talk more on social media.
The couple could hardly contain their interest. “I think that was it [sic] Destiny,” Pablo typed.
Taylor ended his TikTok share with a simple message: “So who needs Tinder or Hinge when you have Target support?”
The couple are reportedly taking it easy now. “Right now we’re just seeing where things are going,” Taylor said.
According to Taylor, they met for their first video chat on Thursday current tik tok vid, after which they played a few rounds of Skribbl, a Pictionary-like web game.
“I’m so happy! We’re already planning our next date!” he wrote of the latest clip.
“Never in a million years did I think I could meet someone in such an unconventional way, so I now believe you can meet ‘the one’ anywhere given the right circumstances!” Taylor told in his statement BuzzFeed.
Pablo, who did not share his last name, also spoke to the online outlet. “Who knew a conversation I had with a handsome client could turn out like this?”
He then assured viewers that his love affair while working wouldn’t jeopardize his position at Target: “For anyone who asks, don’t worry: I’m not going to get fired, but I really appreciate all your concerns! ”
