The sister of murdered Sabina Nessa breaks down in tears on GMB as she demands her sadistic killer be jailed for life

SABINA Nessa’s heartbroken sister broke down as she demanded her killer be jailed until his death.
The elementary school teacher was murdered by Koci Selamaj, 36, last year while walking to a pub to meet a friend.
Twisted Selamaj admitted killing the 28-year-old, but the coward hid in his prison cell and refused to turn himself in to her family as he was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 36 years on Friday.
Her sister Jebina Yasmin Islam is now calling for a tougher sentence and believes Selamajs should remain in prison “until he dies”.
Jebina broke down in tears remembering her sister, telling Good Morning Britain: “It’s all surreal. It feels like a bad dream we went through. It’s just heartbreaking.
“You never thought your little sister was actually taken away. You could have had some time to spend time with her and make memories, but she was taken away without a second thought. It influenced me.

“Our sisters were afraid to walk the streets alone. Life should mean life because he takes my sister’s life without a second thought.
“So all his rights should be taken away from him because he obviously failed to appear in court on Thursday and Friday. And life, if you took a life, should mean until you die.
“It made me angry because I wanted him to hear our impact statement to show how much pain he’s caused my family.
“I think it’s so important that they should be able to get the killer, the perpetrator, to come to court and listen.”
Selamaj refused to speak to police officers after they ambushed him at his home in Eastbourne, East Sussex last year.
He hit the primary school teacher 34 times with a 2ft emergency sign before strangling her and dumping her body in Kidbrooke, south-east London.
The sick killer had traveled from his home to Cator Park, where he hid in bushes for 20 minutes, waiting for a lone woman.
Selamaj ambushed Sabina in the “premeditated and predatory” attack as she went to meet up with a friend at the pub just minutes from her home.
CCTV footage also shows the monster checking to make sure it wasn’t being observed before running after the terrified Sabina, who was a total stranger to it.
Jebina added, “It’s hard to come to terms with. And the fact that there were these possibilities that it could have been stopped.
“I have a feeling that with the Sabina project we could do something to combat male violence and implement a program to that effect.
“It’s what you can do in the circumstances, you and your family know you can’t change what happened.
“But you can use your experience to try and change the minds of the next generation of young women so they understand that respect for women must be the number one priority.”
Selamaj also bought a rolling pin of Sainsbury’s in Kidbrooke before the violent and “sexually motivated” attack on Sabina.
The Old Bailey heard that he had taken up residence in a five-star hotel in Eastbourne to plot the murder of every woman he came across.

The body of the tragic Sabina was found the next day just 200 meters from her home by a dog walker covered in leaves.
Mr Judge Nigel Sweeney said Sabina did not deserve to have her life taken in “such a despicable and cowardly manner”.
