The mother of the assassinated Queen Orsolya Gaal was sitting alone in the local bar before the attack

Orsolya Gaal, the mother of the assassinated Queen, sat alone at a local bar for 40 minutes before heading home – where she was brutally stabbed and stuffed into a duffel bag over the weekend, law enforcement sources said.

Gaal, 51, spent time in her Forest Hills backyard on Friday afternoon before heading out with friends that evening to catch a show at Lincoln Center, police sources said.

Upon returning to Queens, Gaal sat alone at a local bar — as if waiting for someone — before returning to her Juno Street home, according to sources.

Investigators believe Gaal’s killer entered the house and killed her on the first floor and then took her to the basement, the sources said.

The suspect stabbed Gaal 60 times in the neck, torso and left arm before stuffing her into a black Bauer hockey duffel bag similar to the one used by one of her children – and dragging it outside, less than half a mile from home removed to authorities.

Gaal, who was found in the holdall just after 8am on Saturday, died of “sharp violent wounds” to her neck, the chief medical examiner’s office said on Monday, ruling the death a homicide.

She was also spotted with possible defensive cuts in her fingers and hands, law enforcement sources said.

It appears the killer knew Gaal, sources said Monday, indicating there were no signs of a break-in at the home.

The sources implied that the attack was personal and was carried out specifically against Gaal, given the brutality of the crime out of anger.

Gaal’s husband, Howard Klein, a partner and founder of RK Equity — an advisory investment firm focused on lithium-ion batteries and technology metals — had told the Post he was out of town when the murder unfolded. Klein was reportedly touring through college with the couple’s older son, 17, at the time.

Klein received an ominous text message from the killer threatening, “Your whole family is next,” WPIX reported.

Her younger son, 13, was seen being handcuffed from the house shortly after his mother’s body was discovered. He was interrogated at the local police station and later released, police said.

As of Tuesday morning, police had made no arrests or identified suspects in the killing of Gaal.
