A man in Pittsburgh has spread happiness everywhere with his “small” acts of kindness that have saved many lives. His love journey begins with an unfortunate act.

Six years ago, Jon Potter, a 31-year-old man, started a course to spread love around the world, starting in his small town in Pittsburgh. Since then, he has touched over a thousand lives, helping through cash, gifts, service delivery and organ donation.

Many people have known about his good deeds, they describe him as an angel in disguise. But the origin of his mission is one that he doesn’t want to remember and wishes he could erase from his history.

Potter’s “no” came suddenly, like the regrets of his hasty decision. He never got a chance to make up for his rejection, which haunted him.

However, the Pittsburgh man thinks he can do the next best thing, when he sees the woman he refuses to help among others. From that moment on, he vowed to say “yes” to anyone who needed his help.

Potter made good on his promise, assisting as many people as possible regardless of the nature of the aid needed. He’s helped kids fix scooters, install antennas, replace broken windows, roof homes and even provide a free move for his truck.

Best of all, he’s always willing to lend a hand regardless of whether he’s been scammed or lied to or if his rescuers are in a better place financially than he is. He explain:

“I give because I want to give. And that’s only for me. And if anything, I go to bed and I feel happy.”

Admittedly, the meager returns from his old-school job limit his financial clout, but he always does the best he can with whatever he has, even if it means is to give up a part of yourself.

In 2019, the young man was king of all actions when he donate one of his kidneys to a lucky stranger, Michael Moore. The amazing act of kindness convinced the retired health food operator that there was still good in the world.

Potter, who was diagnosed with autosuggestion many years ago, still determined not to give up. In an interview, the man admitted he also wishes to donate his liver and “minimal organs”, describing organ donation as his strange addiction.

His wife, Rachael Adler, could not have wished for a better man. She disclosure in an interview that their satisfaction comes from seeing strangers walk up to them with sincere smiles, showing the real happiness they lacked before.
