POLICE has launched an emergency search after a teenager disappeared after leaving a nightclub.

Marnie Clayton, 18, was last seen leaving Atik on William Street, Windsor, at around 2am this morning.

She never returned home and was reported missing by her family just before 3am.

Marnie is described as a Caucasian woman, approximately 5ft 2ins to 5ft 4ins tall with brown hair and a slender build.

Police have released a selfie taken by Marnie just hours before she went missing in Windsor.

It shows the smiling girl in a gray off-the-shoulder dress before she heads out for her night.

It shows a blonde teenager wearing an off-the-shoulder gray dress while posing for a selfie.

Police say they are “increasingly concerned with her welfare” and say the disappearance is “out of character”.

She is known to frequent Reading town centre.

Detective Chief Inspector Jon Groenen of Thames Valley Police, said: “This is Marnie’s character, and we are increasingly concerned about her welfare.

“I urge anyone with knowledge of Marnie’s whereabouts to please call us on 101, citing reference number 43220021633.

“If you see her, please contact us on 999.

“I would also like to complain directly to Marnie, if you see this appeal please contact your family or the police to let us know you are safe and where you are.”
