Lind told the outlet that the song’s success kicked off his songwriting career and helped him sign a publishing deal with Charleville Music, with whom he collaborated for five years. He then moved on to Warner Bros. Music, where the iconic “Crazy For You” was born, turned then-unknown singer Madonna into a music star – And the rest is history.
