Worried Charley, 33, called the ordeal “scary” but thankfully the youngster recovered.
Writing on Instagram, Charley said: “Ace has been poor since Friday due to constant illness but he is actually in a coma.
“And then on Saturday he took a turn because it was worse than we had to put him in the hospital, but then today he took a little turn, but it was really scary, [we had] ambulance out and everything. “
Reassuring fans today, she said their half-term fun plan was back on as she flashed a peace sign in her car.
Charley’s husband Matthew Wolfenden recently shocked fans when he shared a snap of the couple to mark their anniversary.
Footage – taken 15 years ago – shows the pair looking almost unrecognizable as they first “met” after meeting on ITV soap.
Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe on the show, said he knew right then and there that she was “his soulmate”.
He captioned the photo: “This photo was taken 15 years ago. We just ‘get to know each other’… now we’ve been married for 4 years and have 3 amazing, beautiful (always annoying) boys running around the house and driving us crazy!
“When we took this photo, I knew we would be together forever. I have found my soulmate. Love you dear friend. @miss_charleywebb. Happy memories. X ❤”
The couple got married in February 2018 in a surprise wedding that their friends and family thought was a birthday party.
They are the parents of Buster, 11, Bowie, six, and Ace, two.
