Leikovic was initially accused of stabbing her mother Praskovya Leikovic, 40, at home.

It is said that after stabbing her mother to death and while Praskovya was still alive, “she then cut her own heart”.

Shocked by her accusations, he waited for her to fall asleep and then went home to check if what she said was true.

He then reported her to the police.

Local media quoted the young woman’s grandmother as saying she had “disobeyed” and that she had led an “immoral lifestyle”, abusing drugs and alcohol.

A month before the murder, an ambulance is said to have been called to the family home after the young girl overdosed on drugs.

The young girl’s mother and grandmother both insisted that Leikovic be treated for drug addiction.

The forensic psychiatric examination of the young girl, conducted after the murder, found that, due to her mental state, Leikovic “wasn’t able to correctly perceive details important to the case. criminal” and “cannot testify in the case”.

During the trial, the video shows her lying on a court bench and cleaning her fingernails.
