The deadly shooting in east Harris County began with what investigators believe Friday night was a fight for a remodeling job

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 38-year-old man was killed Friday after a dispute led to a shooting in east Harris County.

Deputies responded to a shooting at 14600 BLK Greenville Street at approximately 11:20 p.m

Upon arrival, officers found Noel Torres lying in a ditch with multiple gunshot wounds. According to investigators, Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses said deputies Torres and another man came to visit people at a trailer when a neighbor confronted them.

MPs say two other men arrived a short time later and continued arguing. The suspect pulled out a gun and shot Torrez.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, early 20s, with a beard, fled the scene on a bicycle.
