Wes responded by claiming he was looking forward to meeting as they share similar professional interests and wanted to speak more “locally”. However, Yes asked for his number, and Wes claims they made a call and had a “cool” conversation about “normal stuff.”
When they arrived at the hotel ahead of the season, the two-time champion recalled that Yes taught him “the All-Stars way of playing fair.” When the contest started and they ended up in first authority together, Wes explained that he was trying to play fair by voting on how he taught because “I’m kind of trying to play with the man.” During the next Authority that Wes wasn’t attending, he claimed he heard Yes when he told the others that he had heard Wes’ episode on seven-time champion Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio’s podcast and didn’t like how he liked the game plays .
Wes admitted that Ja “hurt my feelings.”
Therefore, Yes tried to nominate him for the elimination and allegedly claimed so Wes “makes his skin crawl”. The duel The winner said he was surprised to hear what Yes said behind his back, because “this is a guy I’ve never crossed paths with, never said anything bad about him and who reached out to me.”
Wes claims he discovered them All stars 1 champ began “researching” him after the cast was leaked and overheard his conversation with Johnny.
Rather than “ignoring” him or asking him about it, Wes believes Yes sent him a direct message to “befriend him” just to try and nominate him for elimination at the first opportunity. While he stated that he doesn’t care if others “pretend” or form false alliances with him, it bothers him when people play that way and don’t “own” it.
The veteran called it “fake” and “phony,” adding that “Yes” is “just as unfair and cutthroat as the rest of us.” He closed his thread by pointing out that he felt “judged” by his co-star and admitted “it hurt my feelings.”
Yes, Wes has since responded with screenshots of her text messages
Yes quickly responded to Wes’ claims by posting more screenshots of their direct messages.
After asking for the two-time champion’s number, Yes added his next response, noting that it was “cool” if Wes didn’t want to talk ahead of the season.
“I’m not trying to make plans or anything like that. Just say hello and share any information that might interest you,” he added. In Wes’ response, he said he would “love to chat” and said he “don’t know much” since he recently retired from the community.
That All stars 1 winner posted a recent screenshot of her text messages which portrayed Wes as the one more anxious to talk to him on the phone. He’s since asked Wes to talk to him, noting that he’s “old school” and not that active on Twitter. The Challenge: All Stars 3 airs Wednesdays on Paramount+.
