The Boys creator Eric Kripke has hit out at fans who troll Erin Moriarty

The Boys creator Eric Kripke doesn’t hold back on super punches.

On Wednesday, Kripke slammed fans for trolling actress Erin Moriarty – who plays Starlight in the Amazon series – for her appearance on the superhero show.

“Hello trolls! First, this is literally the opposite of the show’s f–King message,” Kripke, 48, tweetedlaunching a foul-mouthed attack on disgruntled viewers.

He continued, “Second, you inflict pain on real people with real feelings. Be polite. If you can’t be nice then eat a bag d–ks, f–k off in the sun & don’t watch #TheBoys we don’t want you.”

The aggressive tweet comes days after Moriarty, 28, revealed on Instagram that some of the show’s fans made her feel “dehumanized” and “silenced”.

“I feel silenced. I feel dehumanized. I feel paralyzed,” Moriarty wrote. “I put my blood, sweat and tears into this role (over and over and over again), I’ve grown up in the shoes of this character (*emphasis on growing up – we’re changing and evolving mentally AND physically).”

Moriarty’s response came after Medium published an article highlighting the “misogyny” the actress has endured.

“With that I’m saying: a) thanks to @butcherscanary b) this breaks my heart – I opened a vein for this role and this kind of trolling is exactly what this role (Annie) would be opposed to,” she said.

“And c) everyone goes through their own struggles; let’s not add anything to that. I will never intentionally (and ESPECIALLY) publicly add anything to yours.”

The article’s author pointed out how the actress’ objectification goes against what she’s fighting for on the show.

“The objectification of Moriarty’s character contrasts with the show’s message as Starlight fights being silenced and sexualized,” reads the Medium article.

Several of Moriarty’s co-stars have endorsed their castmates.
