That 2022 Billboard Music Awardsone of music‘s biggest awards ceremony will be held on May 15th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. On April 19, Billboard announced the first round of performers for the upcoming awards show. Megan Thee Stallion, Burna Boy, Latto, Rauw Alejandro and red hot chili peppers have all been announced as cast members for the 2022 BBMAs.

Billboard announced the first round of performers for the 2022 BBMAs on April 19. Additional rounds of cast members will be announced in the coming weeks.
The first round of artists at the BBMAs 2022 includes five acts:

As the 2022 BBMAs kick off, all the announced cast members have fun facts about their upcoming performances.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers last performed at the awards show in 1999, making their upcoming 2022 BBMA appearance their first in 23 years.

Megan Thee StallionLatto, Alejandro and Burna Boy will all make their debut as BBMAs performers at the upcoming awards show.
Megan Thee Stallion’s performance is said to be “a dynamic production,” according to a press release.
Several of the artists announced are finalists for awards at the 2022 BBMAs. Latto and Megan Thee Stallion are both nominated for Top Female Rap Artist.
Alejandro is nominated for Top Latin Artist, Top Latin Male Artist, Top Latin Album for AND VICE VERSAand Top Latin Song for “Todo De Ti”.
