The Amazon driver followed the rest of the instructions on the doormat, making improvements when her husband opened the door

By now, a lot of people have seen the rotting carpet that says “Please hide the package from your husband”. There are many variations on that theme, but the heart of the matter remains the same: This phrase is a little bit of a joke – and a little bit not.

Delivery drivers also seem to be aware of this phenomenon, and many of their attempts to follow the humorous request have gone viral.

Some are brave efforts that in the end be reduced but still as funny as the carpet they hide under.

“Oh my gosh look!” package recipient Ebony Freeman posted on Facebook in 2019. “The real UPS guy hid it under the rug!”

Some delivery men and women use their delivery skills and dial 11, find super sneak point to store packages that no one can find if it doesn’t have a delivery confirmation photo or a doorbell camera.

Best regards, Longaberger posted a video of what happened when a driver took the request seriously while delivering Longaberger’s husband’s package. Both husband and wife are confused when they see the status line on the package as “delivered” but nowhere to be found.

Then they test their doorbell camera.

@pinkiebergOk, I really don’t expect that to happen again 🤣 this one’s for the boys- he came to hide the package too! #hide and seek #Amazon #amazondrivers #mvp♬ The Assignment – Hand Money

“He asked me if I had taken it off the porch and I didn’t see any packages, so we checked the Nest camera to see what had happened, and that’s when we saw it. she hid it for us, and we just died laughing. ,” said Longaberger Fox News.

But one of the latest viral videos shows an Amazon delivery worker using an entirely new tactic.

“Amazon backed me up,” caption read.

In a clip that user stephanielerin posted on TikTok, a delivery man walks to the door, rings the bell, spots the rug, pulls parcel behind a potted plant and photographed the delivery man’s resting place.

A messy situation arose when the husband opened the door for the doorbell, and the delivery man had to think quickly.

“Hey, how’s it going?” the husband asked.

“Oh, how’s it going?” the shipper replied.

“Have a package?”

“No, I am not… No, I am just… here to… tell you about… the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

The husband explained that they were having dinner, and the delivery man apologized, and the two walked down their path in a random encounter, it was almost staged.

If this is an actual encounter in the wild and the man makes an immediate excuse, it’s certainly pretty impressive – especially when it’s obvious he’s wearing it. Amazon delivery and it will be very easy to crack.

Either way, the original poster appears to have received her package and captured a hilarious moment, which has since received 34.1 million views.
