TIGER WOODS has revealed he will never return as a full-time golf pro after he was involved in a car crash last year.
And the veteran told the press ahead of the Genesis Open that he was still struggling to walk since the accident.
Woods said: “Will I come back and play on schedule? No. That will never happen again.
“I can play certain events here and there, but on a full-time level, no, that’s never going to happen again.”
“I wish I could tell you when I play again.
“I want to know. But I don’t know. My golfing is very limited. I can chip and put the ball well but I haven’t taken any seriously for a long time. I’m still working in the field. walking section.
“Being in a cart, I can do it. But walking in the golf course, that’s a whole different deal. I have a long way to go.
“At this age, you just don’t heal quickly, which is frustrating.
“To go out here and play six rounds of golf, I haven’t been able to do that yet. I’m still working to get there.”
Woods hasn’t been seen at a major tournament since 2020 but has alongside son Charlie in the 2021 PNC Championship.
