Texas City convenience store employee found stabbed to death at Timewise Shell Station on Highway 146

TEXAS CITY, Texas (KTRK) – Texas City Police are investigating after a convenience store employee was found stabbed to death Monday night.

Police received a call around 9:32 p.m. regarding a crash into a Timewise Shell in the 400 block of Highway 146 and FM 1765.

When the staff arrived, they found the staff unresponsive and not breathing. EMS at the scene confirmed her death.

According to police, the woman was stabbed.

Her killer was last reported to have gotten into a vehicle and headed north on Highway 146.

Police have not said whether anything was stolen in the stabbing or a motive for the robbery.
