Terrifying moment Hermes delivery drivers are seen DESTROYING packages into the back of a lorry

A HERMES customer has captured shocking video showing transportation workers hurling dozens of packages into the back of a truck.

Jenny Leung was shocked after dropping the packages at a drop off point at Go Outdoors in Thurrock, Essex, and then spotting a Hermes courier loading them into a truck.

The 36-year-old school manager began filming two delivery workers from inside her car and forced the couple to throw a lot of things into the car.

Two men wearing hi-vis suits were caught hauling packages high behind a large truck, passing through a metal cage containing multiple packages.

The man on the far side performs most of the positive action while his co-workers hand him items of all shapes and sizes.

The clip was filmed in November last year, but only today Hermes confirmed the incident has been “handled”.

Jenny shared the video on Twitter at the time, writing: “So I just delivered my parcels to Hermes but little did these two workers know I was sitting in my car watching them throw the parcels. my parcel into their truck.

“I’m shocked that inside any of those packages could be something valuable they shouldn’t have thrown like that.

“I dropped another parcel today to see if the delivery guys would do the same with everyone’s deliveries.”

Speaking today, Jenny said: “The video was taken right after I dropped my parcel at the Go Outdoors branch in Thurrock.

“They got on the truck and went into the store to get the Hermes cart

“I usually post everything through Hermes but never expected them to handle parcels so poorly.”

A Hermes spokesman said today: “This issue was resolved when it was raised again by our customer in November 2021.”

They declined to confirm the results of the investigation.

This is not the first time Hermes has come under scrutiny in the handling of their parcels.

In October, the courier faced criticism when a similar video emerged showing a courier recklessly hurling parcels into the back of his truck.

Earlier this month, CCTV captured a sleepy driver loading a package into a large bin, only to have it later collected by a garbage truck.
