Terrifying moment drunk man gets stuck under train after jumping into platform gap while trying to fend off passengers

This is the horrifying moment a “drunk” man got stuck under a train after jumping into a platform gap while trying to fight passengers.

In shocking footage filmed by a passenger, the man, who was barely able to stand, is seen jumping straight off the platform before a train conductor and another commuter pull him off outside.

He continued to struggle against fellow passengers as he stood up – but he apparently lost his balance shortly after.

British Transport Police said officers were called to Osterley tube station at 5:46pm on December 17 following reports of an assault.

A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and drunkenness, disorderly and was later released on bail by police pending further investigation.

He was also seen toppling to the ground and rolling into the train.

He eventually managed to sit up on the deck as the conductor tried to make sure he was okay.

It is not yet clear how the war began.
