Temperatures in Maryland to drop over the weekend before rising again – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – It was the weekend of work and the start of another bout of cold weather.
The rain may be coming to an end, but the Marylanders aren’t “out of the woods.”

The ground is wet, and when cold air begins to collect on paved surfaces and grassy areas, frost can occur.
For the next 16 hours, everyone needs to watch out for the spills. Clearly, under sunny skies and cool conditions tomorrow, that threat will end early on Saturday.
But simple tasks can become difficult before those conditions go away. For example, walking the dog before bed can cause a person to fall onto some slippery pavement.

In fact, those who take their children to recreational sports activities early on Saturday can find some slick areas on the roads around the area. All it needs is some ice.
The good news is that starting Saturday and over the next few days the area will get a lot of sun. After a chilly weekend with temperatures in the mid-30s, the weather should improve with daytime peaks in the mid-40s.
But there is a slight chance that there could be some bumpy road on Monday as a “trailer” slides north. There may be cloud cover south of that cut.
