Teenager dies after being pushed out of pickup truck in crash on Parker Road

PARKER, Colo. (KDVR) – A teenage girl has died after being thrown out of the back seat of a pickup truck in a crash Sunday night.

Parker Police said the crash happened around 7:20 p.m. at Parker Road and J Morgan Avenue. The pickup truck carrying five passengers was hit by a vehicle traveling north on Parker Road as it began to turn west on J Morgan Avenue.

This girl was taken to Parker Adventist Hospital following the incident where she was pronounced dead. The three passengers in the pickup truck and the only person on board were also transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The Parker Police Department Accident Team is investigating the crash, but alcohol is not considered a factor.
