A teenager was shot dead across the street from a Queens high school on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The 17-year-old was shot in the left arm at 1:40 p.m. near Maspeth High School on Grand Avenue in Elmhurst and taken to Elmhurst Hospital, police officers said.
The teenager, a student at the school, should survive, according to police.
The suspects fled on scooters down 74th Street, police officers said.
The shooting broke out after an argument, police said.
