Tattooist got my ink all wrong

A WOMAN was left in shame after a tribute tattoo for her mother turned out to be a disaster.
The TikToker, who posts under the username Shelby, had chosen to ink her mother’s lipprint onto her arm.
The touching tribute to Shelby didn’t go entirely according to plan, however, as she revealed what the artist had done for her.
The upload comes with a simple but self-explanatory caption: “Tattoo went wrong”.
In TikTok, Shelby first shows off the design she wanted with the video accompanied by the words, “I wanted a tattoo of my mom’s lip print, don’t ask, I don’t know either.”
In the image, she can be seen shaking her head and holding back her embarrassed laugh while the popular What I Wanted vs What I Got trending audio plays in the background.

The video then cuts to her finished tattoo, which is horribly done and looks completely different from the original design.
The shading of the tattoo is smudged and even the measurements are completely wrong.
Her viral video has been viewed over 250,000 times and has 21,000 likes.
Other TikTokers were quick to lightheartedly poked fun at her body art and criticized the artist.
One user joked, “Ma’am, it looks like Crayola markers.”
“As Shelby, I don’t claim her,” quipped another.
One viewer tried the half-full glass approach and said: “It doesn’t matter what it looks like, what matters is what it means.”
Recently another woman asked for a flower tattoo but got it left with something much ruder to deal with.
And one man remained red in the face afterwards spotting a weird mistake on his tattoo after the ink was done.
