Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told Grand Theft Auto fans to “keep in the loop” when asked about updates to GTA 6 now that Rockstar Games has gone quiet again.
Back in early February, Rockstar Games finally gave fans an answer regarding the development of GTA 6. The iconic game development went on to say that work on the next GTA is underway, but revealed nothing else.
During that time, alleged leakers and insiders have claimed that Rockstar will reveal the game and details before the year is out, but also stated that fans won’t be able to get their hands on GTA 6 for at least another year.
Despite all these claims, the developers themselves have remained silent and have continued to release updates for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto Online. However, they could do something.
Take-Two Interactive, the publishers behind Rockstar’s franchises, have always reached out to developers for answers and announcements surrounding their games, although some have asked the publishers directly.
So when Strauss Zelnick – CEO of Take-Tow – was asked about possible updates and details surrounding GTA 6, he gave a pretty familiar answer. Even if it’s not what the fans want.
“Sure, I mean Rockstar said there was another version coming. So stay tuned,” Zelnick said wood wool Podcast as he has remained silent on the highly anticipated project.
As mentioned, there have been some claims that GTA 6 will be revealed shortly – whether through a trailer or screenshots – but at this point, who really knows.
However, fans should be cautious as there are many “fake” trailers and announcements making the rounds on social media. We’ll only be keeping an eye on Rockstar’s Newswire and Twitter accounts as that’s where everything will be officially announced.
