Suspect attacks NYC homeless man with food truck and knife

Earlier this month, a gory scene erupted on a busy Queens street when a maniac took a knife from a trolley and punched a homeless man in the face, according to police and sources.

The NYPD released a photo of the alleged slasher covered in the blood of his 26-year-old victim after the attack on Broadway and 73approx Street in Jackson Heights at around 10:40 p.m. on March 18.

The cuts happened just steps from the main subway station in the busy neighborhood.

The suspect and victim had gotten into an argument near an unattended halal cart, sources said, before the maniac grabbed an 8-inch knife with a 4-inch blade and slashed the homeless man’s face.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where 20 stitches were needed, according to police and sources.

His assailant was captured in blood-covered security footage holding a pack of Marlboro Reds and pointing at an unknown object. Suspect attacks NYC homeless man with food truck and knife
