“Survivor” contestant Ralph Kiser has died at the age of 56

“Survivor” contestant Ralph Kiser suffered a fatal heart attack on Wednesday morning. according to The Sun.
He was 56 years old.
Kiser, a farmer, appeared in season 22 of Survivor: Redemption Island in 2011 where he was a member of the Zapatera tribe. He came eighth in the reality competition.
“The Survivor family sends our deepest condolences to the family of Ralph Kiser,” host Jeff Probst said through the The show’s Twitter account. “His big smile, positive attitude and of course his infectious cock crow made him one of the most likeable players Survivor has ever played.”


Kiser longed to join the “Survivor” cast. The Virginia native routinely applied to compete on the show, hoping to become “a hometown hero to the folks back home.” according to his participant profile.
Kiser, who described himself as “determined, strong-willed and stubborn,” became a fan favorite of Survivor viewers.
“I’m a personable person once you get to know me,” Kiser said at an interview in 2011. “I’ll make you laugh.”
