Super Bowl 2022: Everything you need to know about the Los Angeles Rams, Cincinnati Bengals game

CALIFORNIA – It’s that time of year again… Super Bowl Sunday is upon us! Whether you’re into a game, commercial, or halftime show, here’s everything you need to know about Super Bowl LVI.

What time is the Super Bowl and how can I watch it?
Super Bowl LVI will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 13.

It will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock. You can also watch at and the NBC Sports App. NBC was originally scheduled to broadcast the Super Bowl 2021 but changed the year with CBS to have both the Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics, which began on February 4, essentially at the same time.

Which teams are playing in the Super Bowl?
Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams won their respective divisions championships thrillingly, with the Bengal team overcoming massive deficits to beat the Kansas City Captains, 27-24, in the AFC Championship. The Rams made a comeback in the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers, eventually beating them 20-17, to claim the NFC championship title.

Where is the Super Bowl played?
Super Bowl LVI is being played just outside of Los Angeles, in Inglewood, California, at SoFi Stadium, home to the Rams (and LA Chargers). This is the second year a Super Bowl team has had a home advantage (the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl at home last year). However, technically for even and coin toss purposes, the Bengals will be considered the “home team” and the Rams will be the guests as the designations rotate between the AFC and NFC champions each year. Yes, it’s weird, but we don’t make the rules.

So that means the Bengals will wear their standard home jersey, and the Rams will call the coin to open the game, as well as overtime if necessary.

Which players should I know about?
Midfielder. Both were selected first overall in their respective NFL drafts, both wore the number 9 jersey, and both played at the SEC in college, though not at the same time.

Bengals full-back Joe Burrow is in his second season as a pro and has spent the latter part of his first time out with a torn ACL. Burrow was first drafted by the Bengali in the 2020 draft, and while starting his college career at Ohio State, he later transferred to Louisiana State University, where he won the National Championship. and a Heisman Trophy winner in 2019. If Burrow can win the Super Bowl, he will become the third quarterback in history to win both the College Soccer National Championship and the Super Bowl, along with the likes of Joe Montana and Joe Namath (yes, they’ll all be named “Joe.”)

The Rams’ quarterback Matthew Stafford is in his first season with Los Angeles, after more than a decade as a signal caller for the Detroit Lions. Stafford’s college career at the University of Georgia was more than respectable, but he failed to make it to the National Championship. He ultimately chose to drop his senior year and enter the 2009 NFL draft, where he was selected first by the Lions. He was traded to the Rams last year, and coach Sean McVay said a few weeks ago the team would not be where it is today without Stafford’s leadership.

Who is win?
According to Bleacher Report, the Rams were prioritized to win, which is owned by CNN’s parent company Warner Media. As for the matches, no one could have predicted this one at the start of the season, so who knows. The Rams are 12-5 in the season, while the Bengals are 10-7.

Bleacher Report also analyzed the odds of Burrow launching a interception, Odell Beckham Jr. wide of Rams with more than 64 yards received, and other types of bits.

Who will perform during the break?
This year’s halftime show looks to be a hip-hop, rap love festival with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar performing.

“Straight Outta Compton” director F. Gary Gray directed the trailer, which was titled “The Call”. You can watch the teaser here:

What about the advertisements?

Don’t worry, we’ve got a preview!

Who should you root for?
Honestly, who cares! Just kidding – something like that.

This NFL post-season is filled with spoilers, leading some sports analysts, and even the NFL itself, to call it the greatest playoff season ever, so it looks as this final match may follow.

The Bengals are definitely underdogs, not just in this game, but from a franchise perspective, they’ve never won the Super Bowl and haven’t appeared in a game since the 1980s. Bengals also haven’t had a winning season in several years, until now.

Now in their second Los Angeles era after returning to the city in 2016, the Rams seem to have cemented themselves as “The Hollywood Team” (sorry, Charger fans). Between Los Angeles and St. Louis, the Rams have made five Super Bowl appearances, most recently losing to the New England Patriots in 2018 during Super Bowl LIII. They won their only NFL championship in 2000, during Super Bowl XXXIV.
