Summit1g regrets “salty” relationship with Dr Disrespect in early Twitch days

Star streamer Summit1g explained why he misses Dr. disrespect on Twitch, and detailed why he “regrets” how he acted back when the two-time was just an aspiring streamer.

It has now been almost two full years since Dr. Disrespect has been permanently banned from Twitch, reasons we may never find out.

Despite resolving its dispute with Twitch over the ban, The Doc remains banned from streaming or appearing on the platform.

During a recent broadcast, Summit1g revealed how much he misses Dr.

Summi1g “misses” Dr. Disrespect on Twitch

While streaming on April 9, Summit began reminiscing about The Doc’s days on Twitch and how their relationship has evolved.

“I miss The Doc, man. It’s funny, my time with The Doc was mostly salty. And now that I’m at a different stage in my career, I’ve learned to accept emerging streamers who s**t at me like The Doc did back then, so it’s normal now. I just miss The Doc more. I just regret the way I took it back then, you know.”

The pair of streamers have competed countless times in games like H1Z1 or PUBG and developed a competitive relationship when Doc was still streaming on Twitch.

“It used to be like an ego thing, dude,” he said. “It wasn’t normal for a Twitch streamer to run your numbers very effectively and quickly. To compete with you, to push you.”

Dr Disrespect took streaming to a new level with his bold outfit and unique humor that has since been copied by aspiring Twitch streamers.

While Summit regrets that his “ego” got in the way during their rivalry days, he still misses having The Doc on the same platform as him.
