Strictly Come Dancing 2022: After the departure of Aljaž Škorjanec and Oti Mabuse, the line-up of professional dancers is announced

The professional dancers perform Be sure to come dance 2022 have been announced.

The BBC competitive series returns for its 20th series this autumn, with the pro-dancer line-up to be announced on Thursday (31 March).

The 2022 participating dancers are: Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdington and Nancy Xu.

It is not yet known which dancers will get celebrity partners.

The line-up announcement follows news that two popular pros would not be returning.

On Monday (March 28) Aljaž Škorjanec announced that he was leaving the show after nine series.

The Slovenian dancer, who won his first series with Abbey Clancy in 2013, wrote: “A while ago I made the difficult decision Strict 2021 would be my last. The show has given me the opportunity and freedom to create and express myself in front of millions of people every weekend for the past 9 years.”

In February, Oti Mabuse also confirmed she was leaving the show after sparking speculation after becoming a judge dancing on ice.

The lookalike Strict Champion is the only dancer to have won the show two years in a row, with Kelvin Fletcher in 2019 and Bill Bailey in 2020.
