Steve Harvey struggled to answer a question about Michael B. Jordan’s marriage to his stepdaughter during a television appearance.
the Family disputes The host’s stepdaughter, Lori, was dating Believe Star Jordan for over a year.
At a performance on Today with Hoda & Jennathe TV personality was asked during the Sip or Spill segment: if he was excited about the prospect of the couple getting engaged.
“If he asked to marry her, would you agree?” the hosts ask Harvey, who at first seemed hesitant to answer the question.
“Man, that’s hard,” said the 65-year-old. “I gave away two daughters. I have four. That’s really hard.”
He added, “I’d say so far — yeah, yeah.” Then he changed his mind and said, “No, no, no, man.”
Harvey then proceeded to have a drink, which you should do in-game if you’d rather not respond.
The host has previously been candid about his views on the couple, telling Ellen DeGeneres that he was “very uncomfortable” with a photo of his daughter kissing Jordan.
However, he did tell DeGeneres that the actor was “a really good guy.”
Lori, who was adopted by Steve after he married her mother Marjorie in 2007, took to Instagram with Jordan in January 2001.
Jordan’s credits include friday night lights, Black Panther and Mercy only. He is currently working on it Creed IIIin which he will both direct and play the lead role.
