Stephen King: Horror Author Openly Names The ‘Only Movie’ He’s Ever ‘Stepped Out’ Of

Stephen King has revealed the title of the only film he has ever left.

The horror author didn’t hold back in reply to a tweet from author Linwood Barclay.

After Barclay revealed he didn’t like it Jurassic World Dominion so much so that he had to leave the theater, Bay waded in to name the only film that made him do the same.

King wrote, “I only got out of one movie as an adult: TRANSFORMERS.”

When fans asked if he meant the 1986 animated version, King clarified that it was “the first” in the franchise.

The 2007 Michael Bay film was produced by Steven Spielberg. It grossed a total of US$709 million (£585 million) at the global box office.

Fortunately, in King’s eyes none of the adaptations of his books were as bad as transformers – even if some must have been scarce.
