Star Wars Andor: Who is the B2EMO spokesperson?

Andor, the latest Star Wars series to release on Disney Plus, introduced viewers to B2EMO, an adorable droid who quickly became a fan favorite after the show’s first three episodes made their way onto the internet. But who is the voice actor playing B2?

Who is Andor’s B2EMO voice actor?

B2EMO is voiced by Dave Chapman, an English puppeteer whose earlier work is well known to Star Wars fans. The actor is one of two cast members who served BB-8 in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, while also starring for Proxima in Solo: A Star Wars Story – the gross-looking, caterpillar-like one Grindalid crime boss.

Now Chapman is B2EMO (or “Bee-Two” as he’s often called) and provides the voice for the robot who has a special bond with Cassian. Officially known as the Groundmech Recovery Support Unit, B2EMO hauls scrap for the Andor family. He is the first robot of his kind to be seen in Star Wars.

It remains to be seen what role B2EMO will play in Andor as he does not appear in Rogue One, the film the series serves as a prequel to. It could be that B2EMO just stays on Ferrix and continues to be a part of the Andor family…or maybe a less hopeful fate awaits the droid. Star Wars Andor: Who is the B2EMO spokesperson?
