Today, Star Citizen developer Cloud Imperium Games released a new video of the space simulator in development.
One of the most intriguing parts of the video is the reveal of the Drake Cutlass Steel, a new variant of the Drake stallion that acts as a drop ship with room for more troops and additional weapons.
It will be done with the next patch cycle along with a new hospital in Ara 18, a physical rework for gravlev vehicles, a new (but unannounced) vehicle that falls under that category, and New Jumptown 2.0 dynamic events.
The rest of the video focuses on the 2021 review, showing all the progress that has been made in game development over the course of the past year.
In other Star Citizen news, total amount of crowdfunding just passed $422 million and is currently at $422,308.680.
The number of registered accounts recently passed 3.4 million and at the time of this writing is 3,433,955.
As always, you should keep in mind that not all of them are paying players. This number includes free accounts created for various reasons, including Free Fly events like one of the recent endings.
If you are wondering if the game is really fun to play, This is a good place to start. A multi-star single-player campaign called “Squadron 42” is in development.
