TODAY is the official start of spring – but let’s face it, our flower beds are still looking a little lackluster.

Well, if you’re also counting down the days until your garden blooms again, then this tricky brain teaser is for you.

To celebrate the start of the season, Hope’s Grove Nurseries in Kent has urged flower fans to spot three daffodils hiding in this illustration.

Sounds easy enough, right? Yes, we thought so too.

In fact, the tiny yellow flowers are cleverly camouflaged by lavender and other blooms.

So can YOU beat the 40 second record? Because we certainly couldn’t.

Morris Hankinson, Director of Hope Grove Nurseries said: “We wanted to develop this brain teaser as a fun way to celebrate the beginning of spring.

“With the record time of 40 seconds, we’re excited to see who can beat it.

“Much luck!”
