BRUSSELS (Reuters) – European Union antitrust regulators will unconditionally approve Microsoft Corp’s $16 billion bid for voice and artificial intelligence technology firm Nuance Communications Inc, people familiar with the matter said.
Microsoft announced the deal in April, to increase its presence in cloud solutions for healthcare customers.
Sources say the US software giant is currently in talks with the UK’s antitrust authority before filing a request for approval of the deal.
