‘Soon to Come’ – Billboard

Timbaland and Justin Timberlake certainly not strangers in the studio, but it looks like these two have been working on some new music together.

On Wednesday (December 29), Timbo posted a video of himself, JT and Ant Clemons – who make “Better Days” with Timberlake in Celebrating America concert after President Joe Biden’s inauguration – listen to the new excerpt in the studio. “Soon to come”, Verzuz The co-creator captioned the snippet with a series of suspicious eye emojis.

But what’s particularly notable about the new model is the signature childish voice that Timbaland first made known to on Aaliyah’s 1998 Grammy-nominated single “Are You That Somebody?” was recently released for the first time on streaming services, like CD of the late R&B singer. Clemons is heard screaming in the video, to which Anderson .Paak teased him in the comments. “No – why are you shouting @antclemons,” he wrote, to which Clemons responded with a barrage of half-joking emojis.

In the video, Clemons exclaims to Timbo, “You brought the baby back! You should put the baby on this and Lil Baby. “And DaBaby,” JT laughs. “And my baby.”

Timbo and JT reunited this past spring Justine Skye’‘s latest album Space and time: Timbaland executive producer it and former *NSYNC member were featured on the song “Innocent”, a song credited to Timbaland and Missy Elliott due to its content on Aaliyah’s song “If Your Girl Only Knew”.

Earlier this month, the major manufacturer teased a main release / reunion with Missy, this will be her first full-length album since 2005 Cooking book.
