Ahead of the 2022 Grammy Awards, Big Hit Music announced that Jin recently had surgery and both J-Hope and Jungkook have tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). J hope recovered from the coronavirus, but some BTS fans are worried about the logistics of the septet, all of whom may perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
BTS is expected to perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards
The Recording Academy announced BTS in the first round of performers for the 2022 Grammy Awards on March 15. For this reason, the band’s performance is eagerly awaited.
On March 19, Big Hit Music was released a Weverse announcement reveals that Jin “injured his left index finger” and “needed surgery.” While recovering, the BTS singer wears a cast on his left hand.
Days later, on March 24, Big Hit Music shared a new one Weverse announcement that J-Hope has tested positive for the coronavirus. The label announced in a Wevers contribution on March 29 that Jungkook tested positive for the coronavirus.
Junkook only tested positive for the coronavirus after making it to Las Vegas for the Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, on March 29, it was announced that J-Hope has recovered and can attend the awards ceremony.

Some BTS fans are concerned about the band’s performance at the Grammy Awards
With Jungkook recently testing positive for the coronavirus, J-Hope only recently recovering from the coronavirus, and Jin recovering from surgery, some BTS fans are concerned that all seven members won’t be able to perform at the Grammy Awards together.
“…It’s about a 1.5-2 week recovery from what I’ve usually seen, but hopefully JK will be fine by Sunday. My gut tells me not to get my hopes up, just in case…” a Reddit user wrote.
“I’ve cared for them so much this month… scared they won’t all be able to be at the Grammys and perform live like they’ve been hoping for for so long…” wrote another Reddit user. “With Jin’s hand, J-hope gets covid, and now JK those men got me so stressed lol.”
“…I know this live performance means so much to you and I really hope all 7 get together on stage on Sunday,” one fan wrote Reddit.

Other fans of the band remain optimistic
While some fans are concerned about the pressure surrounding BTS’ upcoming Grammy Awards, other fans of the group are trying to remain optimistic that all seven members will be able to perform together.
“…I’m 80% sure we’re going to put OT7 on the Grammy stage,” surmised a fan on Reddit.
Another fan wrote on Reddit, “I remain positive about an OT7 performance too!”
