Falling temperatures bring odds down on White Christmas
As temperatures continue to drop across the UK, the odds for parts of the country waking up to a White Christmas this year have dropped to 1-2 (from 4-5) with the Coral bookie.
Coral goes 6-4 (from 3-1) that Edinburgh experiences snowfall on December 25, which is 4-1 for Manchester, and 5-1 for London, while Coral also has odds, which are 4- 5, this year’s winter was the coldest on record.
John Hill of Coral said: “As we enter December, the prospect of a White Christmas, at least in some parts of the UK, is increasing.
Hill added: “Edinburgh is the city most likely to see snow in the UK on Christmas Day, with Glasgow and Newcastle.
Hill concludes: “We predict that this year’s winter will be the coldest on record in the UK, so we should brace ourselves for what’s to come.
