Snip3down Explains Why He Can’t Team Up With Nickmercs In ALGS

Fans hoping to see Snip3down and NICKMERCS team up in ALGS will have to wait a little longer, as player FaZe has explained why he won’t be competing anytime soon.

Renowned as one of the world’s best competitive FPS gamers, Eric ‘Snip3down’ Wrona has long been feared and respected by the Halo community.

Halo’s competitor was set to team up with Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff in ALGS, but the massive Apex Legends team was fired.

While hoping they will compete in the ALGS alongside other competitor Deeds, Snip3down explained why he might need to drop out before the competition.

Snip3down’s commitments to Halo interfere with ALGS

During Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen’s Apex Legends live stream on February 26, Snip3down revealed that his commitments to the Halo scene would get in the way of his participation in ALGS.

Snip3down begins: “Sorry, I may not be able to compete in any more tournaments,”.

“For what FACEIT?” Dosen replied. “Yes, well, for that and all pushed back. I can’t play more than the first month it’s supposed to allow, I have to focus on Halo. I’m competing in that sh*t,” confirmed the FaZe player.

His former TSM teammate, Dosen, was surprised that Snip3down wasn’t aware of the scheduling conflict: “I’m surprised you didn’t know about FACEIT because I saw a Reddit post about it.”

Halo Champion Open Series has been in full swing since February 19th, with events happen every weekend until March 20, 2022.

It is unclear who NICKMERCS will choose to replace Snip3down, but for now, ALGS has postponed all upcoming tournament events until further notice so he has some time.
