SkyWest’s United Express flight from Victoria to Houston goes off the runway at Bush Airport after a steering problem, the airline says

According to the airport, the plane went off the runway. SkyEye video shows the plane landed in a meadow near construction, but no one was injured in the incident.

SkyWest Airlines, a regional airline that operates the flight for United Express, said its plane went off the runway after a steering problem. Read the full airline statement below:

SkyWest Flight 5069, operating as United Express from Victoria Regional Airport to Houston International Airport, experienced a steering problem and rolled off the runway near the end of its landing. There were no reported injuries and we used buses to take our customers to the terminal. Our maintenance team will fully inspect the aircraft.
