LONDON (Reuters) – Sky news on Tuesday said British Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab was wrong when he said 250 people were being hospitalized with the Omicron variant of the new coronavirus.
Asked for comment, a Justice Department spokesman told Reuters to call the Department of Health and ask Reuters to use different figures. The Health Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Health Minister Sajid Javid said on Monday that 10 people are in hospital with Omicron.
