GERMAN prosecutors believe convicted pedophile Christian B kidnapped Madeleine McCann when he was named official suspect in Portugal.
After a lengthy investigation by authorities in Portugal, Germany and the UK, there may now be crucial evidence that could solve the problem The world’s most famous mystery about a missing child.
Cops investigating the 15-year case are said to be more hopeful after Christian B was informed that he is now an ‘arguido’ (formal suspect). by local authorities.
He could to stand trial in the face of “extremely strong” new evidence supporting the tot’s disappearance in 2007, according to Jim Gamble.

But prosecutors in Germany are certain she is dead after investigating Christian B’s previous links to the Algarve.
He is currently in prison in Germany for raping a pensioner on Portugal’s sunny coast in 2005 and is suspected of a number of other crimes.
But he has refused to cooperate with investigators in the McCann case, other than insisting he was not involved.
In their search for the missing piece of the puzzle, prosecutors are confronted with a number of possible clues that link the German to the kid’s disappearance.

Telephone records examined by the German team are said to locate him at the crime scene.

Against other charges
According to reports, Christian B is to be charged with the rape of Irish tour representative Hazel Behan in the Algarve in 2004, three years before Madeleine disappeared.
Der Spiegel reported that prosecutors will “complete” their investigation into the rape earlier this year.
Miss BehanThe then 20-year-old came forward in June 2020 after reading about his criminal record.
German prosecutors have not yet announced what evidence they have implicating him in the case and his lawyer declined to comment.
The fiend, who lived in the Algarve from 1995 to 2007, is currently serving a seven-year sentence for raping an American pensioner in 2005.
He worked odd jobs in the area where Madeleine disappeared and is known to have broken into hotel rooms and vacation rentals.
Christian also explores the possible Connections to at least four other crimes in the area.
One is the sexual assault of a ten-year-old girl by a naked man in 2007, six miles from Praia da Luz.
German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said there were good reasons to believe that the perpetrator, Christian B.
Another concerns the abuse of four children at a festival in São Bartolomeu de Messines in 2017.
