Saint Arnold Brewing Founder Is Looking For A Cure For Inflammatory Bowel Disease

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – It can be an uncomfortable topic for many of us, but one local business owner is raising awareness about inflammatory bowel disease, making it his goal to seek treatment. The CDC says nearly three million Americans are affected by IBD.

Brock Wagner, president and founder of St. “It’s one of the most helpless feelings in the world, knowing your child has been diagnosed with a life-long illness,” says Arnold Brewing.

Wagner, whose daughter was diagnosed with IBD at an early age, is hoping to bring IBD to the forefront and make a difference to those with the condition.

Although Wagner’s daughter is an adult now, he is working with Texas Children’s Hospital to raise money for the hospital’s IBD program researching new treatments for the disease.

In November, Wagner held his annual “The Feast of St. Arnold” fundraiser, raising $100,000.

“Every year, we have a super brave patient stand up and share their experience and the importance of sharing this research,” says Wagner. “Hopefully, they find a cure.”

The hospital continues to donate for its cause through webpage.
