Strictly’s Nikita reunites with his grandma in Poland while fleeing Ukraine

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin was overcome with emotion today as he reunited with his grandma in Poland.

the dancer, 24, shared the incredible moment with his followers, revealing how she made it out of Ukraine by walking 8km in the freezing cold without sleeping two nights.

Nikita was deeply concerned for his family during the Russian invasion and drove to her home from Germany today.

Unfortunately, his aunt, grandma and grandpa are still in Kyiv, alongside millions who have not yet managed to escape.

He shared a series of pictures and told his followers: “REUNITED❤️ picked up my grandma from Poland!

“She is so incredibly brave and strong, 2 nights without sleep, ran 8km+ in the freezing cold, despite being barely able to walk on a normal day!

“She came from Kyiv, my mother flew from Rome and I drove from Frankfurt and we are all reunited in Krakow! Just so happy to be together❤.”
