SERIOUS Come Dance Winners, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice reunited for dinner Saturday night at an upscale restaurant.
The dancing couple were spotted together at London’s Gola diner in Fulham as they ate pasta and sipped cocktails together.
Professional dancer Giovanni, 31 years old, watched his Instagram stories to document their evening when they reunited a few weeks after the BBC One competition.
He and the EastEnders actress are deaf Rose, 27 years old – who won the series nineteen last year – can be seen sitting across from each other as they have dinner.
“Great fun,” the dancer captioned a joking video of the pair sitting in awkward silence facing each other as a waiter filmed them.
Giovanni watched a clip of the soap actress stuffing into a plate of pasta, where he could be heard shouting: “Happy days, good food!”
It comes days after dancer Giovanni sent fans into a frenzy with sweet and loving new year message with his dance partner.
Upload to Instagram rose shared a photo gallery from 12 months ago – including shots of herself with Giovanni on the serious page.
Next to the sweet wishes, she wrote: “Be afraid, but do it. What is important is action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually confidence will follow. “
She continued: “That’s definitely what 2021 has done for me, a year of growth, discovery and surprises. I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings.”
But Giovanni’s reaction really delighted fans as he replied with a string of red heart emojis – sending fans into a frenzy.
While Giovanni may be single, Rose is still happily in love with her boyfriend called SamSo the two Strictly champions are just good friends.
The EastEnders star has tried to keep her personal life private from the public, and that could be why Sam didn’t appear on set seriously before the finale.
OK Magazine said they spent their six-year anniversary together in 2020.
Rose wrote: “Six years we’ve been together and I still don’t find you annoying,” in a sweet tribute on Instagram for her boyfriend.
While Samuel, writing on social media said: “I still find you the funniest, most beautiful and super cool girlfriend I ever asked for”.
The EastEnders star – best known for playing Frankie Lewis in the BBC series – took home the Glitterball trophy with dancer Giovanni last year.
The soap star made history on Saturday after becoming the first deaf contestant won the BBC dance series.
