BALTIMORE (WJZ) – After a slightly warmer Friday, ending with some showers across the region, Saturday will bring a very warm record high temperature of 72 degrees is expected!
Later in the day, showers along the cold sun and the chance of strong thunderstorms are possible mainly between 5 and 9 pm. The wind warning remains in effect from 4 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday for possible gusts of more than 40 mph, with even as high as 55 mph possible.
As the cold front passes through the area, temperatures will drop and bring chill winds to the entire area on Sunday, albeit with plenty of sunshine.
Sunday’s high is very close to normal of 50 degrees, our normal is 48 after that. However, all of the coming weeks, temperatures will hover between 7 and 15 degrees above normal with mostly clear skies!
The current weather pattern across the entire eastern half of the country is favoring above-normal conditions, until at least the 21st of the month! We don’t see any snow on the horizon!
Nice weekend. FYI, in Cleveland we predict sunny skies and a peak of 46 on Sunday for the Ravens game.
